Glass Bio Michael Palombo
GLASS BIO FOR MICHAEL PALOMBO
Experience: 10 years
Teaching certification: in color chemistry
with John Henrey from Glass Alchemy
Workshops: Michael has experienced both
Hosting workshops, and participation
in a number of work shops with Studio Broadway
some of the guest included Bandhu Scott Dunham
the author of Contemporary lampworking volume 1&2
and his latest book Formed of Fire.
Michael has also been teaching for the last 5 years
And has nurtured a hand full of lamp workers in both
Starting them out as beginners, to advancing them in skill,
And giving them more repertoires, as already
Experiences lamp workers.
Michael’s own repertoire includes working with a number
Of different mediums like watercolor painting,
Metalworking, leather working, and even combining
Some of these with glass, like his knobs (brass on glass)
And jewelry, (glass in silver) and even glass
Cabochons beveled into leather.
With a vast array of beads both mandrel
And blown, and a range of style, Michael has gained
Notoriety and respect amongst all that have seen
And felt his work.
Some of the other items he likes to do or spiders,
rings, jars, and pendants.
