Glass Bio Michael Palombo

GLASS BIO FOR MICHAEL PALOMBO
Experience: 10 years

Teaching certification: in color chemistry
with John Henrey from Glass Alchemy

Workshops: Michael has experienced both
Hosting workshops, and participation
in a number of work shops with Studio Broadway
some of the guest included Bandhu Scott Dunham
the author of Contemporary lampworking volume 1&2
and his latest book Formed of Fire.

Michael has also been teaching for the last 5 years
And has nurtured a hand full of lamp workers in both
Starting them out as beginners, to advancing them in skill,
And giving them more repertoires, as already
Experiences lamp workers.

Michael’s own repertoire includes working with a number
Of different mediums like watercolor painting,
Metalworking, leather working, and even combining
Some of these with glass, like his knobs (brass on glass)
And jewelry, (glass in silver) and even glass
Cabochons beveled into leather.

With a vast array of beads both mandrel
And blown, and a range of style, Michael has gained
Notoriety and respect amongst all that have seen
And felt his work.

rings, jars, and pendants.

MAKING GLASS KNOBS AND RINGS

Michael Palombo-Artest, business owner, producer.

Michael Palombo Started his carrier with visual arts in 1995,
getting his degree in advertising art, from The Art Center of Albuquerque. After working in that field. Michael soon realized, there was no glory in letting other people/corporation take all the glory,

So Michael launched into visual arts with watercolor paintings,
And glass blowing. gaining local notoriety with the cover of The Range Cafe's menu, hanging is works at the Range for a number of years. some of is art as sold for thousands of dollars.

His art has allowed him to be successfully

Michael has evolved is art into the world of film and video,
With the start of a small production company in the July 2007, Melon Mountain Productions. Where Michael has produced a handful of short videos, With the help of his partner Rob Ellis.
And has been involved in a number of outside productions
Including, 2007 Duke City Shoot Out.

Michael has recently teamed up with Thefilmmakerschannel.com

Filmmakers and their fans.
